I'm very inexperienced in having and knowing about intercourse
and everything that goes along with it. i wasn't fortunate enough to go
through sexual education because my mother thought she was protecting
me. As much as i love her I wish she would've let me take the class or at
least teach me about it herself. Well their has been a question that i've been thinking about a while.....right before a male cums and
they have a certain wetness before, is that part of the semen itself and can
you get pregnant because of it? i've heard of people using the pull out method
but if a male's already wet when he goes in would it still be useful? i know
using some other form of contraception is better but i was kinda curious.

Dear Tracey,
That's a very good question. That "wetness" is pre-ejaculatory fluid
and it does contain semen. And yes, you can get pregnant from that fluid and
that it one reason why "pulling out" or coitus interruptus is NOT an
effective method of birth control. If you want to learn more think about
buying a book or getting one from the library - there are lots of good ones.
