HTHGS: How to introduce a hitachi magic wand into lovemaking

In last week's newsletter we introduced the Hitachi Magic Wand.  While it is the most popular with women as a clitoral massager for masturbation, that is only the beginning.

Many women who enjoy the Hitachi Magic Wand for masturbation ask how they can introduce it into lovemaking with their partners.  The Magic Wand has the power to relax tense muscles so it can feel great when used during a massage.  That's a great non-threatening way to introduce it to your partner.  During intercourse many couples find that the Magic Wand is able to help them achieve the elusive simultaneous orgasm.  Try this:  In the woman-on-top position stop moving whenever he starts getting close to orgasm.   Without pulling out, hold the Magic Wand against your clitoris.  After a while, continue the thrusts.  Each time you stop the thrusting, you'll be helping him hold back his orgasm, while the Magic Wand continues bringing you closer and closer to your orgasm.  If you push the head of the Magic Wand against the base of his penis and your clitoris at the same time, you'll be able to feel the vibrations inside and out!  The long handle makes it easy to hold the wand in place in many intercourse positions.

The Magic Wand can also be used on the penis during oral sex.  Hold the Wand under the tip of the penis and drive him wild!  Many men can cum just from that sensation alone making it a popular masturbation toy for men as well.

HTHGS: The Jack Rabbit (written by Alex Robboy, LSW)

In response to the overwhelming number of people who have been asking “What is your favorite type of vibrator?” I have decided to formally respond.  It is the Jack Rabbit. The Jack Rabbit, unlike a regular vibrator provides the female with clitoral and vaginal stimulation simultaneously.  Not only does the ‘penis,’ with the help of a battery, move around in the vaginal canal, but there is a ‘rabbit’ that directly stimulates the clitoris.  Both the clitoral tickler and the ‘penis’ have separate controls, thus enabling you to enjoy things at your own pace. For a woman who craves multiple forms of stimulation simultaneously, this product is worth experimenting with. To order, you can go to your local sex toy shop, or you can order one online.  The advantage of going to a sex toy shop is that you can hold, feel and play (with your clothes on) with each toy to see if you like the feel of it. However, ordering online offers not only anonymity, but convenience.

HTHGS: The Magic Wand

In the last couple of newsletters we included some tips on how to enjoy the Hitachi Magic Wand Massager for masturbation and during intercourse.  Some people have been writing to us asking for more information -- curious and even maybe a little nervous about using such a powerful vibrator on their most intimate spots.

One thing to remember when using the Hitachi Magic Wand is that a light touch is all that is needed.  Too much pressure won't get you to where you are going any faster and may even make you temporarily numb! The trick is to hold the head of the magic wand lightly near the clitoris, even through a layer-or-two of cloth.  Take your time. Relax.  Push all other thoughts out of your mind except the pleasurable feelings you are experiencing.  To tease yourself to a more powerful orgasm, repeat this for as long as you can stand it:  as you find yourself approaching orgasm, back the magic wand away for a few moments and then begin again.

If you don't have time for a long masturbation session and are looking for a quick release, gently hold the head of the Hitachi Magic Wand on or near your clitoris.  For many women, this direct stimulation method can deliver a quick, powerful orgasm within a few minutes.

Many women enjoy using a dildo along with their Magic Wand. There is also a curved attachment that slides onto the head of the Hitachi Magic Wand called the G-Spotter.  That attachment allows for G-Spot stimulation and direct clitoral stimulation at the same time.

HTHGS: Letter to the editor re: the magic wand

Letter to the editor,
I am writing to thank you for providing the information in your newsletter about "How to have an Orgasm using the Hitachi Magic Wand".  I am 34 year's old and had not previously experienced an orgasm.  My husband bought me a Hitachi Magic Wand.  After several disappointing no-orgasm attempts over the course of a few days using the Hitachi, I then experienced an incredible orgasm using that device.  I can't believe that I had been missing out on orgasms all these years but believe me, I've been making up for lost time since then!

My husband (of 9 years) and I then tried your suggestions for including the magic wand into our lovemaking.  That too allowed me to have an orgasm.  Last night we even climaxed at the same time using this technique.  We are both thrilled!

I haven't yet been able to climax without using the Hitachi, but now that I am capable, I will be working on it. I can't thank you enough for this information.  Thank you! Sincerely, Barb

Our Philosophy sex is like dancing, it changes every time. It depends on culture, atmosphere and mood. Sometimes it is done alone, with a partner or in a group. It can be fast and hard or slow and soft. Sex is a combination of non-verbal negotiation and verbal cues: a scream, a twitch of the toes, or a flush of the face. There is no one 'right' way to move, only what feels good to all those involved.
